A rubbish fire broke out Monday at 312 S. State St., in the Red Line subway.
A Chicago Fire Department release said the fire was reported between the Adams and Jackson stops. Several ambulances and fire trucks were sent to the scene, and the fire was quickly struck out.
No injuries have been reported. It is unclear what started the fire.
