Asha SalonSpa Opens Yorktown Location

An array of Chicago restaurants -- McCormick & Schmick's, Ra Sushi and Harry Caray's among them -- have found their way to the Oak Brook-Lombard-Downers Grove suburban triumvirate, which is suddenly a hotbed of retail, dining and nightlife activity. With all of that shopping, dining and drinking going on, west suburbanites need their own place to chill out, too. Soon they will at a Lombard outpost of Asha SalonSpa, a mini empire of salon-spa hybrids that have taken over the city (with Bucktown, Gold Coast and Mag Mile locations) as well as Schaumburg and Rockford (of all places). The new Aveda concept salon and spa is set to open at Yorktown Center's Shops on Butterfield tomorrow.

Asha's sixth location will become the company's flagship salon, with spacious new digs for both salon services (such as hair cuts and color, makeup applications and nail services) and spa treatments (including massages, facials, body scrubs and waxing).  Just the thing you need after a day of abusing your credit card or before a night of partying in the 630.
