One of Chicago's favorite sons is making a rare visit home.

Chicago Now's Candace Jordan -- a former Playmate of the Year in her own right -- reports that Hugh Hefner will be in Chicago on October 29th to screen the documentary "Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel" at the Gene Siskel Film Center .

The documentary, a recent official selection at the Toronto International Film Festival, features a wide spectrum of celebs, such as Jenny McCarthy, Gene Simmons, Mike Wallace and the Rev. Jesse Jackson, and is directed by Oscar-winning documentarian Brigette Berman.

Hefner will preside over a Q&A session following the screening, according to the Siskel web site.

Tickets are $12 and still available as of this writing. The film will be shown through Nov. 4th.
