Lou Gehrig Collectables on Display in Rosemont

A collection of personal items from famous baseball player Lou Gehrig will be on display at Rosemont's Donald E. Stephen's Convention Center, located at 9301 Bryn Mawr Ave. in Rosemont, starting Thursday. These items, several of which include Gehrig's signature, are on display on behalf of Heritage Auctions. This baseball, which has an estimated value of $30,000, was signed by all of the 1926 Yankees. 1926 was Gehrig's second year with the team, in which he doubled his runs from his rookie season.
