Bulls, Sox on Heightened Security

United Center fans to go through metal detectors

Osama bin Laden's death means changes for Chicago's sports teams.

According to ESPNChicago.com, fans entering the United Center for Monday's Bulls/Hawks playoff game will be subjected to metal detectors.

The NBA has ordered all teams to use the devices for the remainder of the playoffs, in reaction to any potential terrorist threats.

Currently, United Center guests are given a visual inspection.

The White Sox will also employ enhanced security at U.S. Cellular Field when the team faces the Baltimore Orioles Monday night.
