A design submitted to the 2009-10 Vehicle Sticker Art Design Contest by a Corliss High School senior has been chosen as top dog.
Well, top design, the city clerk's office announced Tuesday.
Denise Ferguson's winning entry features a dog carrying a City of Chicago flag in its mouth, and fit the parameters of the contest, which was co-sponsored by the Department of Animal Care and Control and the city clerk's office.
Of the 350 students who submitted their artwork for a "Dog Friendly Chicago" sticker, Ferguson's design was selected in an online vote cast by some 25,000 people and a panel of independent judges.
