Tie one on at the Green Tie Ball Saturday night, one of Chicago's biggest charity galas of the year benefiting Chicago Gateway Green at A. Finkl & Sons. Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco DJs around 11 p.m., along with DJ Sky Gellatly, his collaborator on a musical project called SNDCLSH. This year has a Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory theme. Ticket packages range from $100-$750.
Dish with your favorite celeb chef Saturday at the third annual Cultivate Festival, which combines food, music and sustainability. Chefs such as Paul Kahan, Graham Elliot, Tony Mantuano and Curtis Duffy will be on hand along with bands such as Dale Earnhart Jr Jr. and The Mowgli's. It all goes down from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. in Lincoln Park and is free and open to the public.
Stumble over to the Windy City Wine Festival Friday and Saturday at Buckingham Fountain. More than 345 wines will be available to sample, along with bites from local restaurants, live music and cooking demos. Funny thing about this festival, everyone seems to be soooo friendly. $29 in advance
