The South Side Irish Parade steps off at noon Sunday in Beverly.

Irish eyes aren't smiling in Beverly, just days before the South Side Irish Parade.

Organizers posted a request on the parade's Facebook page Monday seeking last-minute funds before the annual event on Sunday.

Parade officials admit they're behind in fundraising, which mainly consists of events like parties and golf outings throughout the year.

They're selling 1,000 $50 raffle tickets for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize, along with nine smaller cash prizes.

The parade steps off at noon Sunday in the Beverly neighborhood.
