Justin Bieber Prays for Victims of Paris Attacks During Allstate Area Concert

On Monday, Bieber took to social media to mourn Thomas Ayad, a member of his production team killed at the Bataclan Theater

Justin Bieber took a moment out of his concert at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, to pray for the victims of last week’s attacks in Paris.

“God we come to you together right now humbly just asking just for your love for the loved ones that were lost in the tragedies in Northern Paris,” Bieber prayed. “We just ask you just be with the families and just give peace and all that in your name.”

The massacre hit home for the singer. On Monday, he took to social media to mourn Thomas Ayad, a member of his production team killed at the Bataclan Theater on Nov. 13.

"Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy,” he said in a message posted on Twitter. "He was a part of the team for years and I wish I would've had more time to thank him.”

"It was really hard for me," he said earlier Wednesday during his concert on the TODAY plaza. "We'd been working together for probably like four, five years. It's just a sad thing."

Earlier in the day, Bieber showed Chicago some love on Twitter.

The “What Do You Mean” singer tweeted that he enjoyed himself while skating in the city. He also thanked people for allowing him to “just have fun and be normal (kind of) for a little.”

Bieber is due to perform at the American Music Awards on Sunday.
