Gun-Toting Robbers Caught on Video at Medical Clinic

Thieves steal thousands of dollars of electronics and prescription drugs

Two armed men were caught on surveillance video robbing a medical clinic on Chicago's west side on Friday.

The pair walked into the clinic during the day, grabbed a pharmacist and a dentist and dragged them around the office at gun point as they scooped up the loot. The robbers stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics and prescription drugs such as Xanax and Viagra.

At one point, one of the robbers noticed the surveillance camera footage on a laptop, slammed it shut, and took it with him.

The entire robbery took fewer than 10 minutes, but the thieves tied up the victims with duct tape before leaving.

The victims were too distraught to discuss the robbery but told NBC Chicago they believe the men had been inside the clinic before. A pharmacist at the clinic asked that NBC Chicago not identify the clinic or report the address.

There were no arrests in the case by late Monday. Anyone who recognizes the men in the surveillance images should call police.
