Chicago police are searching for a man who reportedly sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman on the city's South Side.

The woman was walking on the 6800 block of South Perry Avenue around 8:50 p.m. Sunday when a man came up to her and asked to use her cell phone, according to police.

The man then took out a handgun, forced her into a nearby alley and raped her, police said.

Police released a sketch of the suspect, who is said to be bald and have a scar on the top left of his head.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 40 and 55 years old, weighing approximately 150-170 pounds and is between 6 feet and 6 feet, 3 inches tall, according to police.

If you have any information on the suspect, you are asked to call Wentworth Area detectives at 312-747-8380.
