All eastbound lanes were temporarily closed on the Edens Expressway spur ramp just before rush hour Tuesday due to a two-vehicle crash.
As of just after 5 p.m. all lanes had been shut down east of Waukegan Road at I-94 and Lee, causing a massive backup for commuters. Illinois State Police warned traffic will be delayed while the incident is under investigation and emergency responders are on the scene.
As of 5:35 p.m. all lanes were re-opened and traffic was beginning to move again.
Police said four victims were transported to Highland Park Hospital and an additional three to Glenbrook Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
