The Buzz: Yingling began his career in real estate and went on to start a local advertising company. He became involved with the Round Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and eventually secured a spot as Avon Township supervisor. He created the Avon Township Foundation, which started a community garden and supports the local food pantry as well as teaches classes on nutrition.

Yingling states that his main focuses include property tax reform, reinstitution of politicians' role as public servants by refusing pay raises and job growth through the district's resources. As township supervisor, Yingling claims to have reduced his town's operating expenses by over 22 percent and returned more than $25,000 of pay raises enacted by the previous administration.
