Metra Union Pacific Northwest service was stopped in both directions Tuesday morning at Arlington Park after a pedestrian was fatally struck by a train.
A person was hit at the station about 7:20 a.m. by train #620, according to a Metra spokesman.
Trains were halted in both directions at the station an more than an hour after the incident.
