Baseball Is Back in Chicago With White Sox Home Opener

The game against the Seattle Mariners will start at 1:10 p.m., according to the team

Play ball! Baseball is back in Chicago as the White Sox host their home opener on Friday. 

The White Sox were originally set to taken on the Seattle Mariners on Thursday afternoon at Guaranteed Rate Field, but the team pre-emptively postponed the game due to a rainy forecast, moving it to Friday.

The game will start at 1:10 p.m., according to the team, and all tickets and parking passes fans purchased for the contest will be honored at the rescheduled game.

Any fans planning on attending Friday's game will be allowed into the ballpark beginning at 11 a.m., and are encouraged to be in their seats by 12:15 p.m., as the team will hold an opening ceremony for the 2019 campaign. 

Fans are encouraged to have their tickets downloaded onto their phones through the MLB Ballpark App, StubHub, or Ticketmaster, prior to arriving at the ballpark.
