Blago Joins Cast of Trump's “Apprentice”

Former gov on the hunt for new job

The all-star celebrity cast for the third season of The Celebrity Apprentice has been announced, and former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich is among the bunch.

After all, he is looking for a new job.

A federal judge cleared Blago's participation last October, despite initial fears that an appearance on Donald Trump’s reality-show would taint the pool of prospective jurors in Blago's corruption case.

This year, Rod will be competing against 13 other (sorta) famous names for the title of "Apprentice," all while raising money for charity. Blago will be playing for the Children's Cancer Center.

The men include: Darryl Strawberry, Bret Michaels, pro wrestler Bill Goldberg, Olympic athlete Michael Johnson, Sinbad, and chef Curtis Stone. The women include: Cyndi Lauper, Sharon Osbourne, actress Holly Robinson Peete, Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks, WWE model Maria Kanellis, comedian Carol Leifer, and Olympic athlete Summer Sanders.

This isn't Blago's first brush with reality show fame.

Last summer, Blagojevich signed up for NBC's I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, but a judge barred him from traveling out of the country for the show. As a result, wife Patti stepped up to the reality-show plate.

The Celebrity Apprentice premieres Sunday, March 14.

We'll definitely be tuning in, if for no other reason than to potentially watch Blago get fired... again.
