The FBI is looking for major dealer in Chicago

The FBI is continuing its long-time search for a an Illinois native with ties to the Chicago area who's wanted for drug dealing.

Daniel Galicia, 45, has been the subject of a nationwide manhunt since 2001, and is wanted for allegedly supplying wholesale quantities of drugs to fellow Chicago gang members.

Galicia is accused of being a major supplier of marijuana and cocaine to fellow members of the Two-Sixers street gang, who at one time controlled drug sales in several areas of the city, according to the Chicago FBI.

Authorities believe Galicia stayed with family or gang members during frequent trips to Chicago to deliver drugs, an FBI release said. He was one of 11 suspected gang members and associates charged in a criminal complaint and is the only one still at-large.

He is described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-8 with a stocky build, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a mustache and goatee.

Galicia is formerly from Houston and utilizes several aliases, including Daniel Butler and Daniel Glaicia, the release said.

He has an extensive criminal history, including firearms and weapons charges and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone recognizing Galicia or having information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Chicago FBI at 312-421-6700.
