Police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a suburban Starbucks coffee shop on Monday afternoon.
The vehicle crashed into the front of the coffee shop, located in Matteson near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and South Cicero Avenue.
The driver told authorities that she was trying to maneuver out of the parking lot when her foot slipped off the brake pedal, causing the vehicle to lurch forward and into the store.
Two people inside the coffee shop suffered minor injuries from broken glass, according to Matteson police.
