Charges were filed Tuesday morning against two teens accused of shooting a 6-year-old girl and her aunt Friday night.
Angelo Clark, 16, and Terrence Lynom, 16, were both charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.
Quianna Tompkins and at least 40 others were at a home in the 300 block of West 105th Street when gunfire erupted.
The group had gathered for a memorial vigil for a man killed five years ago.
Quianna, who was riding her scooter on the sidewalk, was shot in the chest and remained in critical condition. A 52-year-old woman was also shot in the leg.
Police believe the shooting stemmed from an altercation between two groups of men earlier in the day.
A court appearance for the two suspects was scheduled for Wednesday.
