A Chicago teen died Monday evening after being shot in both legs on the city’s West Side.
Police officers found Jovan Saffore, 17, bleeding in the road after neighbors heard gunshots and screaming.
He was shot shortly after 5 p.m. Monday near his home on the 5500 block of West Courtland Street, police said.
Saffore was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6 p.m.
