Downed Power Line Leads to Outages for Over 1,600 Customers

A downed power line has caused power outages for hundreds of Chicago residents on Wednesday night.

According to officials, the power line has cut off electricity to residents between 33rd and 44th Street, and from King Drive to Lake Shore Drive on Wednesday evening.

Officials say that there are over 1,600 customers impacted by the outage, but utility company officials hope to restore power to the area by 7 p.m.
