Oprah Cancels Columbine Commemoration

Queen of Talk says show focused too much on gunmen

Oprah Winfrey canceled today's scheduled episode of her talk show that was to mark the 10th anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre.

Winfrey, in a posting to her Facebook page, said she reviewed the taped show and decided not to air it because it focused too much on the two gunmen.

The episode, "10 Years Later: The Truth About Columbine," was to air Monday, the anniversary of the massacre in Littleton, Colo., that killed 12 students and a teacher.

She urged viewers to keep the Columbine community in their thoughts.
