A man was arrested Friday evening after he was caught breaking into a store in the Loop.
The man, 30, threw an object through the store’s window about 6:40 p.m. in the 100 block of South State Street, Chicago police said. Once inside, he started damaging more property and placing items in a bag.
The man was taken into custody, police said.
Charges are pending.
