$1M Winning Lottery Ticket Sold at Suburban Gas Station

A gas station in suburban Alsip sold a winning $1 million ticket for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, but no one has claimed the prize.

The Quick Pick ticket was bought at Speedway, located at 5320 W. 127th St., according to the Illinois Lottery. It matched five numbers - 20 - 22 - 52 - 57 - 73 - in Tuesday’s drawing.

The gas station will receive $10,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, the lottery said. [[221614871, C]]

The person who bought the winning ticket should immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit an Illinois Lottery Prize Center, according to lottery officials.

Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
