A 5-year-old girl and a woman were both shot on the city's South Side Friday night, according to police.
The shooting occurred in the 6700 block of S Artesian Ave in the city's Marquette Park neighborhood at 8:04 p.m., police said.
Both the girl and the woman each sustained a gunshot wound to the foot, according to police. Family members took them to Holy Cross Hospital where they were listed in good condition.
No one is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
