It's March, so here come the St. Patrick's Day parades.
Sure, it's 15 more days before the actual holiday, but in the Chicago area, the celebrations are spread throughout the first couple of weeks of the month -- in order to fit it all in.
Despite light snow and frigid temperatures, dozens of onlookers lined Oak Park Avenue Sunday afternoon to watch the first St. Patrick's Day parade of the season, Tinley Park's 10th annual Irish Parade, the Southtown reported.
The parade is organized by the Oak Park Avenue Mainstreet Association and featured local businesses, civic organizations, schools and emergency personel.
