Former President Barack Obama was spotted leaving a restaurant in Chicago's West Loop Monday night.
Obama was seen outside Gibsons Italia, located at 233 N. Canal St., at approximately 8 p.m.
Sources told NBC 5 the former president met with a group of people inside a private dining room for a dinner for the Obama Foundation.
The group included former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Valerie Jarrett, Obama's longest-serving senior adviser in the White House and John Rogers, Jr., a Chicago philanthropist.
