Iconic British singer Elton John has extended his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, adding two more dates at Chicago’s United Center.
The singer, who previously had performed four different shows at the United Center and Allstate Arena, will return to the United Center for shows on June 19 and 20, 2020 with prices ranging from $149 upper bowl seats to over $2500 for front row tickets, according to the Ticketmaster presale.
The presale for next year’s show began Thursday at 10 a.m., and will run until November 18th on Ticketmaster.com, prioritizing American Express cardholders to access their tickets, according to the website.
So far, both dates have nearly sold out the upper bowl ticket allotment, but more tickets will become available on November 22nd at 10 a.m. for the general public sale.
The singer announced his retirement in January 2018 and kicked off his Farewell Tour on September 8th, 2018 where he successfully sold out four shows at Chicago’s United Center.
During the last leg of his tour, John will perform in Australia and New Zealand during December and January and plans to complete his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in 2021. Additional dates have not been announced after his December 2020 shows in London.
