Ed Sheeran Adds Chicago Date to 2018 Shows

Pop star to play Soldier Field for the first time

Just last fall, Ed Sheeran played back-to-back sold-out shows at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont. Now, he is coming back to Chicago to play a show at Soldier Field Oct. 4.

Sheeran’s Chicago date was announced in a Feb. 6 press release alongside several additional shows, including in Milwaukee, Pittsburgh and Nashville. The concerts are part of his 2018 North American Stadium Tour in support of his third album, 2017’s “÷.”

Ticket presale starts Feb. 12 at 10 a.m., while public sale begins Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. Ticket prices will range from $39.50 to $119.50. Fans can register for the presale through the singer’s website.

Last month’s GRAMMY Awards were kind to Sheeran. The pop star took home awards for “Best Pop Vocal Album” for “÷” and “Best Pop Solo Performance” for his hit song “Shape Of You.”
