CTA Cuts Company Cars

There will be no more company cars at the Chicago Transit Authority.

The agency is cutting out free "take-home" cars used by about 70 employees, including upper-level managers who make six-figure salaries, the Sun-Times reported.

CTA President Richard Rodriguez said he'll give back his company car in an effort to cut costs.  Rodriguez said he takes public transportation regularly, but preferred the CTA car because it gave him more time with his kids in the morning.

If anyone sees him running for a bus, please take a picture.
