Chicago Food Truck Fest Season Begins

Check in weekly for a rotating lineup

Anyone hungry?

Now through November, food trucks will set up weekly at Daley Plaza and monthly at Pioneer Court for Chicago Food Truck Fest.

The festival, hosted by the Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection Small Business Center, brings the city’s best and most diverse food trucks together.

“The Food Truck Festivals are an opportunity for people to become part of the city’s growing culinary scene,” BACP Commissioner Rosa Escareno said in a press release. “The festivals are also a good way to showcase some of the amazing culinary offerings available at some of our small and emerging businesses throughout the city.”

The trucks set up at the locations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day of the fest. Friday’s session at Daley Plaza had everything from citywide staple Harold’s Chicken Shack to South Side favorite Cajun Connoisseur, but the lineup will rotate throughout the fest’s run.

Diners can find a list of the trucks present at the fests on the city's website
