It’s hard to believe 2012 is winding down and yet there are still so many firsts we can experience.
December 4 yields a pretty big one: Amazon Web Services, the online merchant’s collection of remote computing services that comprise its cloud-computing platform, will be hosting its first-ever conference at the Illinois Technology Association on the 15th floor of 200 S. Wacker Dr.
The meetup’s information is kinda vague (“let's get together and share what we learned with those who couldn't make it and have a general Q&A”) but it’s a good chance to come and be exposed to the platform and what people are doing with it.
To sign up, you just need to hop over here. You can also bone up on it some more on Amazon Web Services and its recent activity, and, of course, its official website.
