It would seem that the Chicago Bears will be without two key defensive contributors on Sunday, as both Eddie Jackson and Aaron Lynch were listed as doubtful on the team’s final injury report.
Jackson, who suffered a sprained ankle in last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers, did not practice this week, so barring a last-minute change it will be Deon Bush lining up at safety this week against the San Francisco 49ers.
Linebacker Aaron Lynch was also injured in that Packers game, and he too was listed as doubtful with a sprained elbow. He didn’t practice this week, and his loss could pose a challenge to the Bears’ pass rush as they try to disrupt Kyle Shanahan’s offense.

Defensive tackle Bilal Nichols was a limited participant in practice Friday, as he has been the last few weeks, but will likely play as he continues to nurse a knee injury.
Finally, defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, who missed Thursday’s workout due to illness, was back on the field as a full participant Friday.
