Organizers for Chi-Town Rising released the full line-up of performers for the hours-long New Year's Eve event.
The NuBlu Band will kick things off with a performance at 7 p.m., followed by Carlito Olivero, Kweku Collins, Radio Free Honduras, JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound, The Heard and the O'My's. DJ Sye Young will perform throughout the night as well.
In the final hour of 2015, alt-rock band American Authors, known for their hit "Best Day of My Life," will perform as one of the headlining acts. American Authors will be followed by the legendary rock band Chicago at midnight.
The ticketed event, presented by Corona Extra and hosted by Hyatt Gold Passport, will be held along the Chicago River between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive, with a Countdown Stage on the south side of the river and a midnight countdown featuring a giant Chicago star rising into the sky.
As the countdown begins, the star will ascend 36 stories up the Hyatt Regency Chicago's West Tower, culminating in the fireworks show.
The celebration will be televised live on NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago beginning at 11 p.m. on Dec. 31.
