Working out of temporary offices in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, Sen. Roland Burris is being schooled in senate-hood in the first weeks of his term.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that his wife found him an apartment a few days ago and he's putting together a political operation looking at 2010 and planning fund-raisers.
On Thursday, the Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet wrote, "Burris was in 'Senate school,' learning, with other new senators huddled around the podium in the Senate chamber, how the floor works."
