The Chicago Blackhawks won’t play on home ice until Sunday in their first round series with the St. Louis Blues, but the team has already gotten their rink ready for action.
On Monday, the team revealed a sight that all fans in Chicago have grown accustomed to, as they painted the “Stanley Cup Playoffs” logo next to each of the blue lines.

The Blackhawks will be looking for their second consecutive Stanley Cup championship and fourth in the last seven seasons as they get the postseason underway on Wednesday night in St. Louis. The home part of their schedule will begin on Sunday afternoon, with puck drop scheduled for 2 p.m. on NBC 5 Chicago.
