A northwestern suburban man accused of killing his mother will appear in court today to face murder charges.
Raymond Davis, 22, is being held at the McHenry County Correctional Facility in Woodstock for allegedly stabbing his mother, Carol Schritz, to death.
Police say he called police Thursday afternoon to report a woman had been stabbed at his home.
When police arrived at the house near McHenry, they found his mother dead.
