A store in northwest suburban South Elgin sold a $550,000 winning lottery ticket for Monday’s midday Lucky Day Lotto drawing.
The winner, who has not yet come forward, bought the ticket at Circle K, 355 Randall Road, and matched all five numbers – 08 – 15 – 18 – 19 – 44 – to win the jackpot prize in the April 11 midday drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The Circle K will receive a $5,500 bonus, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
