Police: 14-Year-Old Girl Missing From Far South Side

Chicago police are seeking the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old girl missing from the city’s Fernwood neighborhood on the Far South Side.

According to a missing persons alert issued by the department, 14-year-old Ariel Wren was last seen in the 300 block of West 106th Street on May 13. The alert also says that Wren frequents the area near the intersection of 109th Street and Princeton, and Lavizzi Park, located at the intersection of 108th and Wentworth.

Wren is described as an African-American girl, standing five-feet tall and weighing around 100 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, and a medium-brown complexion.

Anyone with information on Wren’s whereabouts is advised to call the Area South Special Victims Unit, or to call 911.
