Young adults also were more likely to reach for a beer if a movie or commercial contained it, according to a Dutch study.
In the study,18 to 29-year olds watched a movie and commercials where the characters drank frequently. Another group watched a different movie and commercials with less alcohol.
The more alcohol in the movie, the more likely the young adults would drink a beer.
The experiment was set up in a home-like environment with the choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.
