New Exercise Guidelines

The government releases new physical fitness guidelines in an effort to get Americans back in shapes.

According to the guidelines, adults gain substantial benefits from just two and a half hours a week of moderate aerobic activity or an hour and a half of vigorous activity.

Kids need a little more, about one hour a day. It can be anything from hopping and skipping, to climbing a tree.
