The lines out front were a testament to the popularity of this fourth annual sold-out event, which was split into a lunch and a dinner shift this year to accomadate more people.

Thousands of bacon lovers packed the venue and more than 100 vendors provided samples of sweet, savory and even liquor-infused takes on the other white meat. The annual Golden Rasher awards were bestowed on Three Aces for Most Creative Use of Bacon and 676 Restaurant and Bar won Best Front of House for its table display. More than $50,000 was raised for the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
