When a 4-year-old boy knocked on the door of a South Holland home looking for his mother in the middle of the night, the homeowner took him in and called police.
Before long, the boy's 18-year-old mother was under arrest, charged with child endangerment, police say, after she left the child alone in a car while she went to have sex in another vehicle.
Leslie Foster, of Jacksonville, Fla., was arrested in South Holland just before 2 a.m. Monday, according to South Holland police.
The boy was not harmed and his mother was able to post bail, freeing her until her court day at the end of May.
