What You're Doing Tonight: April 24

An architect's dream homes, a swinging jazz concert and Playmates galore

DREAM HOMES: Explore a retrospective of more than 30 years of work during "Unbuilt Projects and Fantasy Architecture: The Collective Works of Thom Greene." Tonight's opening reception will preview the architect's designs, renderings and sketches, and Greene will be on hand to discuss his unrealized architectural dreams. At the Edgewater Historical Society, 6:30PM, free.

SWING SET: The legendary Jazz Showcase -- now located in Printer's Row, doncha know -- will present "Birth of Swing," a tribute to Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, Lester Young and Chic Webb throughout the weekend. Swing on by. Two shows: 8PM and 10PM, $10.

MULTIPLYING BUNNIES: It's a Playboy invasion -- three Chicago Playmates, three parties. Playboy and Maxim poseur Adrianna Kroplewska will be slinging drinks at Leg Room on Division Street (7PM-4AM, $10, free for ladies before 12AM). Playboy "Co-Ed of the Month" Magen Lugo will have sushi served off of her while DJ Billy the Kid spins house at Y-Bar (10:30-11:30PM, RSVP for discounted cover). And, finally, the trifecta is complete with Playboy's Miss May 2009 Crystal McCahill's signing party at Crescendo (10PM-4AM, cover varies).
