We all have a little Ebenezer Scrooge in our lives. You know who it is – he snarls at barking puppies, tosses garbage in the Salvation Army bucket and purposefully tries to use coupons weeks after they've expired. What a Scrooge! But underneath that cranky exterior is a kind-hearted soul, just misunderstood and trying to get out, right? Perhaps the best way to make that happen is to show this poor soul a mirror in the annual production of the Goodman Theatre's 'A Christmas Carol.' Opening Friday, Tom Creamer's stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic tale directed by William Brown is sure to warm the frostiest of grinches, grumps and Ebenezers. Tickets are $15-70, and the show runs through Dec. 31. Check the Goodman Theatre's official web site for show times and prices.
