One of the most popular family musicals of all time is coming to the Chicago area next year for a one-night only performance.
Tickets are now available for Oliver! at Waukegan's Genesee Theatre on Jan. 19.
The musical, based on the Charles Dickens book Oliver Twist, follows a spirited orphan on his journey through the colorful underworld of 19th century London in search of love and acceptance.
The production originally debuted in London in 1960 and transferred to Broadway in 1963.
