Whether you're hosting your first holiday party or your fiftieth, everyone could use a little menu inspiration around this time of year. Some of Chicago's most renowned chefs will be cooking up a feast for your benefit at the Bloomingdale's Home Store. Taking place at 2PM on Friday, Nov. 28 (yes, it's Black Friday, so plan accordingly), the cooking demonstration will offer holiday party menu tips from the likes of Michael Foley (acclaimed chef, restauranteur, author and instructor), Fred Ramos (chef of Angelina Ristorante), Alexander Cheswick (May Street Market chef) and Heidi Hedecker (certified pastry chef at Kendall College). You can only imagine what ideas this culinary dream team might have up its collective sleeve.
Showing off the latest Calphalon kitchen electric appliances, the chefs will whip up a holiday meal from start to finish. If you're looking to buy an early holiday prezzie for yourself, you'll receive a gift with the purchase of one of the featured Calphalon appliances or with $300 of Calphalon cookware.
The cooking event will take place in the Bloomingdale's Home Store's first-level demo kitchen. There is no cost, and reservations are not required. For more information, give Bloomie's a ring at 312-324-7678.
