The Supreme Court ruled Monday Chicago's 28-year-old handgun ban violates second amendment rights paving the way for the controversial law to be overturned.

"I believe... the gun ban had little or no effect on the illegal use of weapons. The Constitution gave citizens “the right to bear arms” and therefore the ban is illegal. As I see it, the criminal use of weapons will be “business as usual” and the “law-abiding citizen” will find it harder to sustain their “right to bear arms”.
