So, you’re not the best dancer. It’s ok. All our ballet and tap lessons as a kid didn’t leave us with even a mediocre sense of rhythm. We understand.
But, you may be inspired to take lessons again when you see Dance Chicago 2008. It opened this weekend, and continues through the end of November.
Dance Chicago features 450 individual acts and more than 3,500 artists throughout the month – all performing at the Athenaeum Theatre. The schedule includes performances of everything from tap to jazz to salsa and ballroom. There’s also a holiday kid’s show with excerpts from the Nutcracker.
Tickets range from $15 to $25 to see dancers from park district to professional companies.
So, check the schedule, lace up your old tap shoes and buy tickets.
