Chicago Gourmet Pre-Sale Begins

"Top Chef" winner Joe Flamm will give a demonstration

The annual Chicago Gourmet event returns to Millennium Park this September, and pre-sale tickets are already available.

Chicago Gourmet, billed as “a concert of culinary delights,” is presented by Bon Appetit. It runs Sept. 28-30.

A one-day pass goes for $156 before fees and a weekend pass runs $288. “Grand Cru” packages, which include high-end wine tastings, are available at $205 per day and weekend travel packages go for $1,360-$1,999. Tickets are available here; regularly priced tickets will be available once pre-sale sells out. 

The most recent “Top Chef” winner, Joe Flamm, executive chef of Spiaggia, is confirmed to be giving a demonstration Sept. 29 on the main stage.

The full event schedule including demonstrations, seminars, tastings and other programs will be released at a later date. For now, Bon Appetit has announced the day-by-day location schedule:

Sept. 28: Hamburger Hop, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Harris Theater Rooftop, 205 E. Randolph St. Followed by after-party Late Night Gourmet, 9 p.m.-12 a.m.

Sept. 29: Grand Tasting, 12 p.m.-6 p.m. at Millennium Park. Grand Cru, 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Harris Theater Rooftop.

Sept. 30: Rise & Shine Gourmet, 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, 12 S. Michigan Ave. Grand Tasting 12 p.m.-5 p.m. at Millennium Park. Grand Cru 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Harris Theater Rooftop.
